About
What this site is
Fit Creeper covers football, rugby and athlete fitness. The focus is explaining things properly rather than being first: what a result actually means in context, what the numbers say, and where a widely repeated claim comes from.
It is an independent personal project, not a newsroom. There is no wire service, no press accreditation and no reporter at the ground. What is offered instead is careful sourcing, published statistics, and a willingness to say when something cannot be confirmed.
What we publish
- Football — match analysis, records in context, tournament explainers
- Rugby — PREM Rugby and international coverage
- Athlete fitness — training, conditioning and recovery, grounded in published research
How we work
Every factual claim on this site should be traceable to a named source that you can click. Where reputable sources disagree — and they do, more often than most coverage admits — the disagreement is shown rather than smoothed over.
Statistics are attributed to the provider that produced them, because providers differ. Expected-goals figures from Opta, FotMob and Squawka will not match; quoting one as "the" number is misleading, so we name it.
The full standards we hold ourselves to, including how corrections are handled, are set out in the Editorial and Corrections Policy.
Who writes it
Articles are written by Ahmed Saim. Every post carries a byline and a publication date, and updated posts show the date of the update.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any club, league, federation, broadcaster or governing body. Where we quote or summarise reporting by the BBC, Sky Sports, ESPN, Opta, FIFA, the Associated Press or any other outlet, that work is theirs and is linked and credited.
We do not offer medical advice. Fitness content is general information, not a prescription; consult a qualified professional before changing your training or diet.
